A freelance build that took a logistics company off spreadsheets and onto a single system: accounting, income tracking, invoicing, reporting, employee records, salaries and KPIs.
It runs the business today and I’m still its maintainer. Feature work is quiet for the plain reason that nothing new has been asked for — the system does what the company needs, so the job is keeping it healthy rather than extending it.
The lasting value was less the code than the modelling: getting a business that ran on informal convention to agree on what an invoice actually is.
